Hello my loves! Today, I am going to share with you my thoughts and opinion about the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation. I know what you think, why did I try this out even when I have extremely oily skin? The reason for that is because I heard some beauty vloggers said that even if we have oily skin, we can still use this. So I decided to try this and find out if that's true.
I bought this product online since I am not sure if it's already available at our local L'Oreal counters here in Naga. I bought this product using the Shopee.ph app at hotfindsmanila (https://shopee.ph/hotfindsmanila) for ₱228.00 because it was on sale. If you wanted to save some money, here's my SUKICODE (SSUKI28CF) which you can use on your very first purchase using the Shopee.ph app and you'll get ₱100.00 off for a minimum purchase of 250.00. (You may or may not use it).
This foundation has a total of 12 shades according to their website, but the shade that I got was 206 Buff Beige since it is the only shade that is available on the shop where I bought it. Here are the shades that I got from their site for your reference:

Claims
Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.
Packaging
As for the packaging, this product has the same packaging as their Pro Matte Foundation. The difference that I noticed is the finish of the packaging since it has a glossy finish. The product is contained in a plastic squeezy tube packaging which is good if you are traveling.
In front of the packaging you will see the brand and product name, the shade of the foundation, its claims which says that this product will give us a radiant finish, it's for normal/dry skin and this foundation is hydrating and this foundation contains 1 fl. oz/30 ml of the product. It also says that it has octinoxate sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF 15 but when I researched about the said sunscreen, it is said on womenshealthmag.com that this ingredient is one of the scary sunscreen ingredient since "octinoxate may actually be a culprit for premature aging, as it produces menacing free radicals that can damage skin and cells."

At the back of the packaging you will see the diagram of what you will expect with the foundation, the direction on how to apply it, drug facts, uses and its barcode.

As for its consistency, this foundation is very liquidy and it has the same smell as their Pro Matte foundation.

Ease of Application
As for the ease of application, this foundation is really easy to blend. It also doesn't sets fast and it will give you ample amount of time to blend it out before it sets on the skin, unlike their Pro Matte Foundation. Since this has a very liquidy consistency, I recommend that you use a synthetic foundation brush in applying it, so that you'll save a lot of product and for you to get more coverage.
(Watch my review video to see how it applies and look on my face here: https://youtu.be/aJWeoRoXr-U)
Just like their Pro Matte Foundation, this has a very light weight feel on the face and the coverage is medium since this doesn't completely cover my skin imperfections. This foundation definitely gave me a dewy finish and it didn't hold up the oiliness of my skin, which I already expected since this is not intended for my skin type. But when I mixed this foundation with my Pro Matte one, it made my Pro Matte foundation's application easier since it doesn't sets fast, it also added more pigmentation or coverage and I liked the finish of it compared to when I was using the Pro Matte foundation alone, because for me, that foundation is way too matte after applying it on my skin. Mixing the two foundations together also helped in controlling the oiliness of my skin, which is really amazing. In my opinion, if they combine this two foundations and make another foundation, that is going to be bomb!
Longevity
When it comes to the longevity of this foundation, this didn't lasts on my very oily skin since it is not specifically made for my skin type. But if you have dryer skin type, this is going to be very long lasting on your skin. And after almost 2 hours of wearing the foundation, my face is already starting to oil up when I used it alone.
PROS
- Packaging is travel-friendly
- It's very blendable
- It will really give you a radiant finish so I think that this is going to be a perfect foundation for people who has dryer skin type.
- It fills in my pores even without using a primer.
- It doesn't accentuate any dryness and texture on my skin.
- It makes my face looks flawless.
CONS
- This will not be suitable for our skin type since it will not control the oiliness of our skin. It can work if you mix it with the Pro Matte foundation and if you set/bake your face with powder but do not expect that you won't retouch your face all throughout the day.
- Since this foundation has SPF, it will also cause white cast or flashback in flash photography, so this is not going to be good for photoshoots.
Final Thoughts
Even if this foundation is not suitable for my skin type, I still highly recommend for you to try this foundation out especially if you have dryer skin type because I really love how this foundation make my face look after applying it. As I mentioned, this doesn't accentuate any dryness and texture on my skin and it makes my skin look flawless even without applying a primer and that's the main thing that I love about it.
