L'Oreal True Match For Asian Skin tones (New Formulation) Review
Hi guys so I'm back with another review and for today, I am going to review the New L'Oreal True Match Foundation for Asian Skin Tones. I purchased it at SM Department Store but you can also find it at Watsons or in your local L'Oreal Counter in your location. This foundation is on sale so I only bought it for PHP 480.00 but the original price of this is PHP 600.00. It has 15 shades available and is formulated for Asian skin tones so you can really find your match. I got mine in G3 Gold Vanilla.
The packaging is the first improvement that I noticed since with the old formulation that I got, doesn't have a pump..The consistency of this is thinner than the old formula and it says that it suits all skin type. And it contains 30 ml of the product, which is a descent amount.
What it claims: -Shade micro-precision 5 matching pigments conditioned to the color structure of Asian Skin tones.
-Finish Micro-Perfection Ultra fine pigments refine and smooth skin inch by inch
-Texture Micro-Homogenity Ultra gliding texture infused with oil cocoons skin with sublime comfort.
What I think about it:
Pros: - Packaging (as I've said, it already has a pump which helps us to control the amount of product that we're going to use)
- Blendability (it slides or glides on smoothly on the skin with just your fingers or with a brush)
- It feels lightweight and doesn't feel sticky.
- There's a wide variety of shades to choose from
- Formulated for Asian Skin tones so it is easier for us to find the shade that will be a match to our skin tone.
- Your skin but better (it looks natural)
- Took 3-4 hrs. before my skin started to produce oil.
Cons: - It oxidizes badly on my skin specially if I use it with the L'Oreal True Match Blur Cream. (I love L'Oreal Products, you've seen me use them all the time, but everytime I purchase a face make-up from them, it always oxidizes on me, so if you are also acidic, you have to get the foundation that is 3-4 shades lighter so that you're face wouldn't be darker than the rest of your body at the end of the day)
- It gives light-medium coverage (as I've said it's natural looking, but the problem is it doesn't cover your skin imperfections. Unlike the old formula that I got, it also looks natural but has a good coverage and is long lasting too.)
Final Thoughts:
To tell you honestly, I regret buying his foundation. i should have stick to the old formulation but buy a lighter shade because the old formula also oxidizes on me but atleast it covers up my skin imperfections. So I will give it a rating, I will give it 5/10 because it just didn't work for me. So, if you guys are not acidic, you have dry-normal skin type and have a flawless skin, buy this new formulation because i think it will suit you but if your skin type is oily, you are also acidic and you also have skin imperfections, then stick with old formula because it has more coverage, although it also oxidizes on me.
That's it for my review. Hopefully, you guys find it helpful and you have an idea of what to expect from this foundation. I'm not saying that what didn't work for me, wouldn't work for you but I just wanted to share with you guys what I experience upon using it and you are pretty much welcome to do the same thing by leaving a comment at the description box below. :) Thank you so much for taking time to read my blog. I will see you guys on Sunday for another makeup tutorial..I love you guys. Stay pretty and achieve that dream baby! :)
