San San HD Foundation First Impression Review

Hi guys! Welcome back to my blog. So for today, I am going to share with you my first impression review on this foundation.

I actually purchased it last Wednesday (September 16, 2015) at HBC Emall Branch and costs PHP 205.00. This foundation has 2 or 3 shades, I'm not really sure because when I purchased it, they only 2 shades available (Natural- lightest shade & Olive-darkest shade). Since Natural is way to lighter to me, I decided to purchase Olive because it is only one shade lighter than me. And it smells like the other foundations that they have (coconut smell).

Claims:

- Excellent coverage for skin imperfections

- Formulated with Vitamins A-C-E and SPF 30 for a healthier and naturally-radiant skin.

- Oil free liquid foundation. Blends superbly with any color cosmetics for a picture-perfect look.

What I think about it?

This foundation's packaging it so cute plus it does have a pump, which is good, unlike the mattifying foundation that they have since we can control the product that we'll use so there's no wastage of products. Yey to that! hehe Anyways, it also have a thick consistency so I thought that it will be harder to blend but it doesn't. It blended on my face perfectly eventhough I used my fingers to blend it on the right side of my face. The coverage is also good because it insantly covered the imperfections that I have on my skin (as it claims).

I used a beauty blender (PHP 70.00, HBC) on the other side of my face and it sheared out the coverage, so if you don't need a lot of coverage, to can used a sponge to blend it out because it does help in absorbing the excess foundation on your skin...

This foundation also makes my face looks flawless specially on natural lighting. And my husband actually complimented me and asked what foundation I used on my face because he said that I look like a Korean.. ;)

But since it contains SPF 30, this is going to have a whitecast in flash photography but you can easily solve that by using a darker setting powder.

This foundation sets into a semi matte finish so you won't look so dry unlike the other matte foundations. This will just give you a little bit of shine which makes your skin look more radiant and healthier.

Since I have a very oily skin, I set it with a powder and I used the Bench Daily Spell Magic Powder in Natural (PHP 17.75-18.00) to set the foundation.

My face oiled up after 3-4 hours after I applied it on my face which is actually good because compared with the other local foundations that I tried, this has holded up the oiliness of my face pretty good. And by that time, some of the blemishes that I have is already picking through. But I took a nap and cleaned the house and maybe that why it faded away.

I wore it for 10 hours max, blotted and retouched 2 times all throughout that 10 hours duration.

So overall, I give this foundation a thumbs up and I will definitely repurchase it because it's performance is really good compared to all the Local Foundations that we have here in the Philippines.
