Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Oily Skin Review
Hi guys! I just wanted to share my thoughts on this foundation that most of the beauty gurus love (and I'm one of them!). And hopefully you'll like it..By the way, I forgot to mention that I have a very OILY and sensitive skin. :) Let's proceed with the review, shall we?
This product contains 30 ml and I'm in the shade 180 Sand Beige and it also has SPF 15. I purchased it at SM Naga City and it cost PHP 660.00 since when I purchased it, it's on sale. But the regular price of this here is PHP 799.00. It claims that you can wear it for 24 hours and it will give you a flawless look and will feel lightweight. And based from my research, it has 20 shades.
So here's my honest opinion about it:
Pros:
It is really long-wearing. I can't say that it lasts for 24 hours because I didn't wear it that long. I wore it for 8 hrs and I only retouched 2 times.. (The longer you wear this foundation, the better it looks on my skin)
Since it is buildable into a full coverage, it will hide your blemishes. (But make sure that you blend it well because it will definitely look cakey!)
It doesn't oxidize..(i forgot this too, sorry)
It looks so light on my skin but a few hours later, it toned down and makes my skin look more flawless.
My face doesn't look like a grease balls after 8 hours of wearing it compared to the other foundations that I wear..So, I can definitely recommend this foundation to you guys who also have has oily-very oily skin like me..
Cons:
It's PACKAGING doesn't have a pump so you won't be able to control the amount of product that you're using and it is contained in a bottle container so it has a possibility to break if you accidentally drop it.
It's PRICEY. For students like me, it is not affordable. (Although the quality is quite good..)
It has WHITE CAST when you take a photo with flash maybe because of the SPF.
Sadly, since this is a full coverage foundation, this can cause break-outs cause it can clog your pores.. :(
But overall, I really like this foundation. I don't recommend it for daily use because it's so thick and can clog our pores but this is definitely the foundation you can reach out for if you're going to attend some special occasions.
