L'Oreal True Match Foundation for Oily Skin
Hi guys, I'm back with another review. And today, I'm going to review the L'Oreal True Match Foundation for Oily Skin.
According to the site:
- Matches skin tone and texture. Non-cakey. Oil-free.
Finish: Natural
SPF: 17
Coverage: Light- Medium
Skin Type: For all skin types (oil free)
I purchased this foundation last June because I saw that L'Oreal has an on-going sale with their products Nationwide. And I've been really eying this foundation since I heard a lot of good reviews about it. When I purchased it, it only cost PHP 600.00 but the original price of this foundation is PHP 799.00. I got the shade W6 Sun Beige. This foundation has a thin consistency so at first, I thought that it will not give me much coverage. But it proven me wrong..Let me discuss the PROS and CONS of this foundation.
PROS:
- Has wide range of shades (33 shades to be exact). There's high possibility that you'll find the perfect match for you skintone.
- It's Blendable (as it claims) you can even used your fingers to blend this foundation into your skin.
- Make your skin looks flawless (specially for photos on natural lighting)
- Even though the site says that it has light-medium coverage, for me it is medium to full coverage because as you can see, I have a very bad skin condition right now but all of the redness is covered.
CONS:
- It oxidizes on me because I'm Acidic.
- Packaging is breakable and doesn't have a pump.
- Leaves white cast because of the SPF it contains.
- It emphasizes my large pores.
- I forgot to mention this but it didn't control the oil on my skin since I blotted and retouched every 2 hrs.
- It transfers badly so if you're planning to wear white cloths, don't wear this foundation
But overall, I gives this product a thumbs and recommend this product for people who has Combination- Oily Skin specially those people who needs a foundation that has good coverage. But I don't recommend this foundation if you're having a photoshoot, since as i said earlier, it leave white cast with flash photography..
